ARRIVING BY CAR:

Regardless of where you’re coming from, head towards highway A10, also known as the ‘Berlin Ring’, then travel in the direction of the inner-city highway A100, also known as the ‘Berlin Inner Ring’.

 

Guests coming from Hamburg

should follow signs toward Reinickendorf, then continue toward Charlottenburg and take the exit signposted for Kaiserdamm. Turn left onto Knobelsdorffstrasse, then immediately turn right onto Sophie-Charlotten-Strasse. At the next light, turn left onto Kaiserdamm. Take the second exit at each of the next two roundabouts, which will take you to the Brandenburg Gate. Keep left in the direction of the Reichstag building and immediately turn right again onto Dorotheenstrasse. Stay on Dorotheenstrasse until it intersects with Friedrichstrasse. There, turn left onto Friedrichstrasse. After Friedrichstrasse crosses the Spree River, you’ll see the Friedrichstadtpalast theatre on your right-hand side. Turn right at the Friedrichstadtpalast onto Johannistrasse. From there, you’ll see the sign for KALKSCHEUNE on the building at the corner of Johannistrasse/Kalkscheunenstrasse.

 

Guests coming from Hanover 

can find us by following signs to Berlin Zentrum [centre]. At the radio tower, stay in the right-hand lane travelling in the direction of Charlottenburg. At the Kaiserdamm exit, turn right onto Knobelsdorffstrasse and continue from there as above.

 

Guests coming from Dresden

should take highway B179 toward Treptow. Follow the road along Treptower Park until you reach the underground station U-Bahn Schlesisches Tor. Turn left here. After approximately 3 km, turn right onto Leipziger Strasse and follow this road until it intersects with Friedrichstrasse. Turn left onto Friedrichstrasse and continue from there as above.

If you are using a navigation device, enter ‘Kalkscheunenstrasse 10117 Berlin’ as your destination, as there are several different streets named Johannisstrasse in Berlin.

 

ARRIVING BY PUBLIC TRANSPORT:

 

Guests coming from outside Berlin

should travel to Berlin Hauptbahnhof [Central Station] and from there take a regional or S-Bahn train one stop further to the station Friedrichstrasse. From there, walk northwards over the Spreebrücke [Spree bridge] and take the second turn on the right onto Johannistrasse.

 

 

Guests coming from within Berlin

should travel to Friedrichstrasse and from there walk northwards over the Spreebrücke [Spree bridge] and take the second turn on the right onto Johannistrasse.
